What is the princess bride?
The Princess Bride was a movie adapted from the book “The Princess Bride” written by William Goldman in 1973. The movie was then released in 1987. Since its creation it has become a “Cult Classic” and since has had a fan following that started to shadow the movie. Want to know more about what to expect at a shadowcast? We've got more info below!

Actors
While the movie is playing in the background, costumed performers act out the movie in front of the screen. Traditionally this performance is done in a movie theater, however it can be, and has been done anywhere the movie can be played.
If you listen closely sometimes you can even hear the actors singing or saying the lines under their breath.
Prop Bags
The performance is very much an audience participation event! Most shadowcasts, including ours, have prop bags you can purchase to participate during the show! It varies greatly between casts and venues, but what we offer in our bags are: Paper Crown, Noisemaker, Mini Sword, Inigo Montoya Name Tag, Pixie Stick, Max’s Miracle Pill, and Wedding Bulletin.

Callouts
A personal favorite of ours is the callouts done during the movie. Have you ever watched a horror movie, and wanted to scream at them for doing something dumb…… like walking towards the killer instead of running away?
Well now’s your chance! Yell out at the movie! There are so many fun callouts you can do!
